Syllabus
Course Description
This course focuses on advanced Algebra topics and requires successful completion of Algebra 1 and Geometry. Students can enroll in this course simultaneously with Geometry Honors based on recommendations from their Algebra I teacher and counselor. Topics covered in this class include solving systems of equations, inequalities, linear programming, matrices, quadratic and polynomial functions, exponential, logarithmic and radical functions, trigonometry, sequences and series.

Keep all papers until you have seen them posted online. If you believe there is a mistake in your grade, let Mr. B know in writing, and the grade will be updated promptly. Check your grade regularly!!


Tardy Policy:
When the bell has rung, class has started! If you are not in your seat when the bell has rung, you are late. Students that reach 4 tardies will be result in a referral to the Dean’s office. 9 tardies can result in being dropped from class.
What you need to bring to class:
Notebook
Calculator
Pencil


Make-Up Work:

Students can make up any missed test or quiz. Talk to Mr. Bolan to set up a time and place to take missed ones.
Missing homework from an excused absence can be made up until the test date.
Unexcused missing work can be made up after school, by appointment.
